| This experiment was conducted at thatlath house belong to the college of agriculture- University of Basrah daring the growing season of 2011-2012 to study the effect of sowing data and spraying the extract of sea algae (Algaton) on vegetative growth, flowering and carotenoid content of the inflorescence of Calendutaofficinalis L. the experiment was factorial randomized completes block design (R. C. B. D.) with three replicates. As a result of this study was noticed increase significant in all treatment of vegetative and flowering growth while the plant treat with the extract of sea algae at concentration 2, 4 m/l showed significant increase at in all treatment of vegetative and following growth | ||
