| Abstract | ||
| The research includes five sections : First Section: Introduction Introduction and Importance: This section contains the introduction and importance of the research which sheds light on the relationship between motor response speed and some defense skills of young basketball players . The problem of research is carelessness of some coaches in giving exercises of motor response speed. The Aim of the research: It aims at identifying the relationship of motor response speed to the performance of some defense skills. The hypothesis of the research: There is a significant relationship between motor response speed and some defense skills in basketball. Second Section: Theoretical Studies This section includes the importance of motor response speed in all shapes and types as well as the most important defense skills in basketball. Third Section: Method and Procedures of the research The descriptive method was used and the samples include eight young players from Al_Slaikh Sport Center , the samples were chosen intentionally and some tests (pre and post tests ) were conducted. Fourth Section: Results and Discussion This section includes presenting the results and analyzing them to achieve the aim of the research. Fifth Section: Conclusions and Recommendations Conclusions: 1- The results showed a significant relationship between motor response speed and the movement of the defense player. 2- The results showed a significant relationship between motor response speed and defense. 3- The results showed that there is no significant relationship between motor response speed and defense coverage. | ||
