Ibn Al-hajib began his scholarship life with a study of the Quranic readings. It was
his way to the study of the sciences of Arabic. Then, syntax dominated him that he
was known of it and was delivered from it among the students as a skillful
grammarian and a landmark jurisprudent. He has left many treatises that were very
known. In his study of the readings, he followed a course that differed from the
precedents before him and come up with new thing. We wanted to tackle the attitude
of the pealding to the Quranic readings we explain that situation, we detail its basis
and show its corners and the new thing in it in order to arrive at that objective, the
study was divided into three main inquiries, which are:
The first inquiry: was entitled (Introducing Ibn Al-Hajib), which included his
name, nickname, bringing up, his sheikhs, disciples, culture, ethics and personality
and ,legacy and treatises and death.
The second Inquiry: was entitled (The Quranic Readings) concepts, indications,
which included reference to the concept of reading in language and terminology and
the difference between Quran and readings.
The third inquiry: was entitled (The Attitude of Ibn Al-Hajib from the Readings)
which includes a references to the single opinions which he was unique with and his
attitudes towards the seven Quranic readings and the images of his pleas with the
readings.
