Abstract
Psychological tension and its relationship with the rank of the teams in football for south region The introduction and importance of research The researcher discussed the psychological tension for being one of understandings which weaken the trust of athlete in himself when he realizes that he is unqualified because of the problems made by the interior conflict. So we see that some footballers were extremely controlled by interior tension which effects in the end on the technical level and skilful performance accuracy of the players and then effects on the result of match Research problem The psychological tension in football game impacts on the continuity in getting achievement in the sport for our the south teams, because of the psychological tension is very important and there is no standard to measure the psychological tension in the field of football, the researcher suggested to design a measure for this phenomena and then it would applied on the sample of football players of superior class to identify on the effect on the teams rank of the series. The research aims to: 1- constructing and determination of measuring of psychological tension at the player of football of superior series of south region in Iraq. 2- discovering the relationship between the football south teams and their in the superior series of country. Research samples It concluded of (92) players of superior class clubs of football rating (41.81%) from the total number of players excellent class (220)players. Conclusions: 1- A measure of psychological tension was built and determined concerning with footballers of superior class in the field of research sample. 2- The statistical significance between psychological tension and the rank of teams in the series was not morale. Recommendations: 1- setting out directions programs (educational-psychological) to treat some players who suffer from high psychological tension to get best results. 2- Setting out a study having the relationship between the psychological tension and the level of achievement at footballers in the super series in the light of (present research).
