Abstract
Atotal of 130 birds of Passer domesticus(L.) were hunted from Qarmat Ali in Basrah province during the period from July 2012 to December 2012. these birds were examined for helminthes parasitized in,which found infected with digenetic trematods Plagiorchis bulbulii Mehra,1937 with prevalence%9.6 and mean intensity of infection 1 Record of this trematode represent the first for the species in Iraq
