| The interest in the non-political topics related to the various human activities is considered necessary to get out of what the writers have traditionally written about kings, rulers and leaders. Hence, the research deals with a small insect, the locust, and tries to follow its economic impact. It tackles the locust as a name and impact and how the locust has juristically been dealt with as food at the times of famines. The research also illustrates historically the years which witnessed locusts' attacks and how they have been treated whether superstitiously or realistically. One way was to bring water from specific areas to be followed by a specific bird that devours the locusts and eliminate them | ||
