Abstract
Results of studying the effect of feeding of Lady beetle Coccinella septempunctata L. on black bean aphid Aphis fabae Scolopi which is treated directly and indirectly with three concentrations (2 , 4 , 8%) of aquous seeds extract of Celery, Apium graveolens L., grassnut, Cyperus rotundus L. and Lettuce , Lactuca sativa L., on some biological characteristics of the Ladybeetles showed an insignificant effect on the larval instars development period while the direct treatment of A. fabae with Lettuce seed extract of 8% conc. showed a superior effect on the mean of pupal period which was reduced to 5.00 days when compared with a 5.70 days for control, also it has a significant effects on the means of the pre-oviposition, oviposition period, number of egg per female, incubation period and percentage of eggs hatching being 5.00days, 26.80days, 664.60 egg/femal, 3.07days and 93.00% respectively, in comparison with 6.80 days , 24.00days , 605.20 egg/femal, 3.73days and 77% respectively for control.
