| Abstract | ||
| The period between 14th of Jul 1959 to 8th of Feb 1963 is considered one of important periods in the history of Iraq because it contained many events .Hence the Ministry of interior is one of the main Ministries ,this study is concerned with the main tasks of this Ministry .This study concluded that this Ministry had changed its treatment with the political parties and the Ministry of Interior was supported by the Boss who is the head of Ministers(Abdul Kareem Kasim)and this shows the control of army on this Ministry and other Ministries in Iraq. After the events of Karkuk(1959)the army couldn’t manage the security issue ,thus the Ministry of Interior demanded the help from the army to control the situation . In 1960 the law of councils had a special attitude towards the Islamic porties. The Ministry of Interior worked hard in the human and social issues .and scored the external forces and their affects on the whole situation in Iraq. The role of the Ministry of Interior had criticised by others because of its policy in controlling the situation in Iraq. The Ministry of Interior working hard in keeping the life of citizens Shapely, Thus this task is kept, but the army had made the military Revolution 8th of Feb.1963. | ||
