Abstract
The efficiency of the financial market dependent over the behavior of stock prices of companies listed in it, if it was independent, the closing prices be independent also, the independence of the price means the absence of a serial link or serially between the closing prices from one period to another, and thus cannot be achieved extraordinary profits by the investor, this is an important indicator of the efficiency of the market, and hence, can rely on current stock prices to predict future stock prices, and the problem can be formulated in the following questions:
1 - What is the reflection of the efficiency of financial markets in the evaluation of the market price of the stock?
2 - What is the effect of stock market prices behavior of on the efficiency of the Iraqi market for securities?
