Abstract
The effect of 2-O-[(2’-acetoxy)benzoyl]-3-O-[2’-(4’’-isobutyl phenyl) propionyl]-5,6-O-isopropylidene-L-ascorbic acid (I) and 2-O-salicyloyl-3-O-palmitoyl-5,6-O-isopropylidene-L-ascorbic acid(II) on normal serum alkaline and acid phosphatase(ALP and ACP) has been obtained by using different concentrations for the derivatives above. Derivative (I) and (II) showed different inhibitory effect on normal sALP and sACP, and the inhibition % were directly proportional with the concentrations of inhibitor.
