Abstract
In this work aseries, 4-{2-[chloro(4-substituted)methyl]-2-methylhydrazino}-7-nitro-2,1,3-benzoxadiazole (8-12) were prepared from the reaction of the corresponding Schiff bases (2-7) with benzoyl chloride , which upon refluxing with thiourea in absolute ethanol in the presence of Na2CO3 for 5hrs yielded the corresponding thiourease compound.(13-15). The synthesized compounds have been characterized by using some spectral data (FT-IR and UV) nd.C.H.N
The biological activity for their benzoxadiazole derivatives were studied against tow species of bacterial Eschericha coil and Staphylococcus aureus.
