Abstract
The research is dealing with studying the effect of Iraqi environment with its different forms and details to produce art works of Potter (Falantinos caralumpos') . Choosing of this potter in particular in this current study because he has European artistic culture and affected by western environment which is different from. eastern environment (Iraq ) . Pottery art engaged great part in his life in his life course as international potter through artistic exhibitions and his participations in international festivals and bodies ,besides he worked as art professor in many countries. . From here, extracted the problem of the research . Does the Iraqi environment can enter in his life artistic field as a potter, spent three decades in the field of teaching the art of pottery in Iraq .The objective of the study is to introduce Iraqi environment vocabularies which had great effect in the productions of the potter (Falantinos ) regarding the block , color , idea , subject and the execution techniques for achieving Plastic art . Regarding theoretical frame of the study ;it included the concept of environment, its importance ,types and its influence on contemporary art. the procedures included the method of the research ,its society and sample analysis . By the 'analysis of the sample , the researcher reached the following results – 1. Through analyzing the pottery works , the potter adopted the tradition (form) and common one , inherited from Iraq environment in general and represented in ( dishes and mural) . 2. The effect of the environments as ( compressor ) dominant on the potter , and this reflected on his -pottery works through his obvious classic style in the form ; and denial of the vocabulary of his potteries in divestiture engineering forms or plants discover the harmony of the units with each other. i 3. Contemporary manner in achieving pottery works , gave the form that related to the Iraqi environment an important role to definite work environment ( time & place ) by giving the form meaning related to time has its importance and existing with in the potter ( Falantinos ) by the intend of finding organization of performance type and showing style for the theater of the event.
