| Abstract For the purpose of the statement of the relationship between transparency and disclosure and credit risk and to reach the required results of the research has been based on the premise that the researcher : - 1 - Iraqi banks committed to the civil principle of transparency and disclosure in accordance with the laws of banking, domestic and international standards 0.2 - entails a commitment to the principle of transparency and disclosure in the low credit risk With focused research problem with double namely: - Are banks disclose risk for private banking and the credit risk of quantitative information amounts to non-performing loans and bad loans and the failure of customers to fulfill their obligations for the payment of any deficit for payment to the bank . Do transparency and disclosure role in reducing credit risk .
