Abstract
Praise be to Allah, peace and blessing be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family and companions. The present research " The linguistic guidance of the Qur'anic readings, its origin, its legacy, and its development " is considered another study in the field of linguistic studies by shedding some light on one of its important disciplines; namely, the linguistic guidance of the Qur'anic readings. It deals with the concept of linguistic guidance, by being linguistically and terminologically defined, as well as showing its authors, and legacy. It also traces its evolution from birth (the emergence of the linguistic study of the Holy Qur'an) till our days. It concentrates on the Qur'anic readings from an important side; namely, the linguistic guidance that is based on finding the best linguistic approach and the cause of its choice from the reader (debate, and the clarification of meanings). Accordingly, the importance goal of this study is shown from the fact that it deals with the many works of ancient and contemporary authors in the same field in order to clarify the best choice of the Qur'anic reading. In addition to the authors' curricula. It aimed to knowing the development that occurs in the linguistic guidance of the Qur'anic readings
