| Abstract | ||
| The research aims to evaluate the textbook of Islamic education for sixth-grade preparatory schools in Iraq from the point of view of its teachers. To achieve this goal the researcher examined as sample adult (26) school teachers of Islamic Education and Madrsadtha in junior high school and high school to the Directorate of Education Rusafa second city of Baghdad, and built a researcher questionnaire consisting of (48) items distributed on (6) areas and make sure of its sincerity and stability after its presentation to a number of experts. The researcher had treated its data statistically, and the results are: • Textbook quality standards are not available in the book of Islamic education for sixth-grade preparatory schools in Iraq. • The area of the major weakness of the book is the content of the book. • The field which achieved positive high for the book is the area of the activities. The researcher had recommended several recommendations, including: • The need to address and improve the Islamic Education sixth-grade preparatory textbook by the relevant authorities, and to avoid the lack of conformity to standard good textbook. • The need to take the views of the teachers when writing the book. The researcher suggested several proposals, including: • Work on the evaluating Islamic books for intermediate and secondary according to standard good textbook. | ||
