Abstract
This study aims to find out the side effects of the abuse of combined oral contraceptives COCS in women province of AL- Najaf through the study of their impact on changes in the weights of women who take the pill as well as its effect on systolic blood pressure readings of systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure diastolic addition to studying some of the changes to levels . In this study, 100 women who are abusing the pill oral vehicle and divided into two groups depending on the age group, the first group included 50 women aged) 30 -34) , and the second group 50 women aged (35-40) . The results of these study showed no significant rise (p ≥0.05) in the body mass index BMI between the first and second test values, as well as, a significant increase (p <0.05) in diastolic blood pressure DBP readings while the study created a significant increase(p <0.05) slightly at a level of probability (p <0.05) in pressure readings SBP systolic blood while the study recorded a significant increase (p <0.05) in the percentage hemoglobin blood in the cases of SBP, DBP, and this indicates clearly to the negative effects of the abuse of ladies combined oral contraceptives and enriched their health.
