| Abstract This research deals with cultural context in understanding Quran text . This has been applied in interpreting " Fateh Al bayan Fi Maqasid Al Al Quran " – Al Falloji – 1307 H . The objective of this research is to demonstrate the influence of the cultural context in the social environment of the pre Islamic age represented by ( norms , traditions and costumes ) prevailed at that age , and knowing the role of such context that it replace the general context in clarifying the meaning because it – the cultural context – is one of the non- linguistic contexts or what so called the external context . | ||
