| The aim of this study was to evaluated the effect of adding two sources of trace minerals (inorganic and purified) including Zinc (Zn), Copper (Cu), and Manganese (Mn) to Japanese quail diets on productive performance. Three hundred sixty Japanese quail, one-day old, were used, distributed randomly into six treatment with three replicates per each (20 birds per replicate). First treatment (T1) control group was fed diet without any addition, Second treatment (T2) fed diet contain a combination of inorganic trace minerals Zn, Cu, and Mn 60, 8, and 50 mg/kg respectively. Third treatment (T3) fed diet containing a combination of purified trace minerals Zn, Cu, and Mn at levels 70, 9, 60 mg/kg respectively. Forth treatment (T4) fed diet containing a combination of purified trace minerals Zn, Cu, and Mn 60, 8, 50 mg/kg respectively. Fifth treatment (T5) fed diet containing a combination of purified trace minerals Zn, Cu, and Mn at levels 50, 7, 40 mg/kg respectively, Sixth treatment (T6) fed diet containing a combination of purified trace minerals Zn, Cu, and Mn at levels 40, 6, 30 mg/kg respectively. Studied productive traits like body weight, weight gain, feed intake and feed conversion ratio during the period of (14-42) days, Results showed that there significant increase (P<0.05) in body weight for second (T2) and third (T3) treatment and significant increase (P<0.05) in weight gain for (T1) and (T3) treatment. There ware also a significant increase in feed intake for control group (T1), in addition to significant improvement in feed conversion ratio for treatment (T2, T3, T4, and T5). We concluded that we can adding organic trace minerals Zn +Cu +Mn at levels 50+8+60 mg/kg and purified trace minerals at levels 60+9+70, 50+8+60 and 40+7+70 mg/kg respectively to improved productive traits for quail birds during 42 days of age |
