Abstract
The mine goal of this study is to make a comparison between linear and nonlinear regression models in order to choose the best one, The models have been applied in several ways method,Forward,Backward and Enter, was applied to determine the significant explanatoty variables affecting the independent variables preterm babies death . An additional statistical tests are utilized for this reason sueh as coefficient of determination. Goodness of fit test and mean error squares statistic. Babylon health directorate is the source of the data used in this study. One of the main findings of this study appearse the logarithmis regression model with beter significancy and the explanatory variables pregnancy period infant, weight, infant age, type of delivery (caesarean or normal delivary) .تهدف هذه الدراسة الى المقارنة بين نموذجي الانحدار الخطي واللاخطي لاختيار افضل انموذج يبين المتغيرات المؤثرة في المتغير المعتمد في تحليل الانحدار عن طريق تعيين المتغيرات ذوات التاثير المعنوي، وقد تم تطبيق النماذج بعدة طرائق وهي طريقة الحذف الامامي وطريقة الحذف الخلفي وطريقة ادخال جميع المتغيرات والمفاضلة بين النماذج عن طريق معامل الارتباط ومعامل التحديد ومتوسط مربعات الخطأ وقيمة F . شملت بيانات الدراسة تسعة متغيرات توضيحية يعتقد بانها تؤثر في المتغير المعتمد وهو (وفاة الطفل).، جمعت البيانات من دائرة صحة بابل لمدة ثلاثً سنوات واخذ مجتمع الدراسة بالكامل . وعند استخدام طريقة الحذف العكسي تبين ان استخدام انموذج الانحدار اللوغارتمي اعطى نتائج للمقاييس الاحصائية افضل من نتائج انموذج الانحدار المتعدد وتبين عن طريق التحليل ان المتغيرات ( مدة الحمل , وزن الطفل , عمر الطفل , نوع الولادة (طبيعية او قيصرية) , ناتج الولاد (مفردة او توأم)) ذات تاثير مباشر في وفيات الاطفال الخدج
