Abstract
The issue of open space uses has been taken in many studies and by different specialities and from several points of view, but the role of design characteristics in these spaces of residential complex spaces and its impact on the social architecture project and urban design, are not clear, so this is the motive to this research and determine its problem, aim and procedure. Therefore this research take in to consideration the relationship between open spaces use with the role of characteristics and it's social activity by using describtional and analatical way in addition to notic form which designed for this research purposes. Zaiyona residential complex plan taken as search sample through three survey approaches and by using ( Excel) analatical programme to reach some findimg from which some recommendation were provided.
