Abstract
One handerd milk samples were collected from different area of abu-grab in Baghdad, eighty samples from infected cases suffering from subacute and chronic mastitis, and twenty samples were collected from healthy cases didn’t show any clinical signs. conventional methods were used by culture on selective media and direct smears before and after cultures.
The results revealed tuberculosis isolates at a percent 15%, and the isolation rate of 10% from infected cases and isolation rate from healthy cases 5%. The number of samples which give positive result to Mycobacterium bovis bacteria was 11 samples in a percent of 11% according to the results of biochemical tests.
