| Abstract | ||
| A comparative study of mollusca bio – diversity were atended in four follow ecosystem southern of Iraq Namely at AL – Hartha power stati AL – Ashar and main drainage / AL - Nathen and AL - Matar rivers . Sampling have been done monthly for one year starting in October 2005 to Septembere 2006. Ten species from Gastropoda and pelecypoda respectively as well as 3species of mollusca were dominated most of year which are : Lymenaea megasom and Melanopsis nodosa from Gastropoda and species of Corbicula fluminea From Atotal bio - diversity values were 2.3. 1.6 and 1.9 at present study sites respectively .Yearly density of mollusca Shown gradiant in values which were 415.1-42.8-276.6 and 194.9ind/m2 at the same sites respectively. | ||
