| Abstract | ||
| The present study has been performed at Date Palm Research Center and Agricultural college laboratories to determine the ability of different isolates of Trichoderma harzianum to produce Indole-3-acetic acid(IAA), and enhance their productivity. Two wild isolates (T2 and T7) showed an ability to produce IAA at levels of 1.77 and 33.24 ppm, respectively. T2 wt. isolate was selected and improved by exposing it to UV radiation. The results of chromatography analysis (by using HPLC) revealed the enhancement production of IAA in the fungal filtrates of mutant T2mut. 75 and T2mut. 90 , which were 65.50 and 47.72 ppm, respectively. This enhancement correlated positively with the bioassay of Wheat and Corn seeds, the seedlings viability index (cm) increased significantly when treated with colony filtrates of mutants. Results proved the tolerance of two mutants to the high concentration of Benlate fungicide reached 1000 ppm, in contrast with susceptible wild isolates of T. harzianum . | ||
