| Abstract | ||
| The research aims to: 1 - Identifying the degree of satisfaction with body image among the students of the Faculty of Physical Education at the University of Babylon. 2 - to identify differences in the degree of satisfaction with body image among the students of the Faculty of Physical Education at the University of Babylon variable according to sex. 3 - the construction and application of a pilot program for the development of body image satisfaction among the students of College of Physical Education at the University of Babylon. 4 - Get on the impact of the program in the development of body image satisfaction among the students of College of Physical Education at the University of Babylon. The researcher used the descriptive style survey and comparative studies to measure satisfaction with body image among the students of the Faculty of Physical Education, also used experimental method style groups Almtkavitin (experimental and control) in the development of body image satisfaction among students. Included research community on the students of Physical Education College - University of Babylon for the academic year (2012 - 2013)'s (620) students, either research sample consisted of (200) students at a rate (32%) of the community by (85) student and (115) students. The sample application program indicative of (40) students by (20) students, and (20) a student from obtaining degrees lower than the mean hypothesis on a scale of satisfaction with body image in the experiment major, has been divided randomly into two groups control and experimental rate ( 20) students per group. For the purpose of measuring satisfaction with body image with members of the research sample researcher adopted a measure (Dogan, 2002), codified on the sample. The researcher has built a pilot program according to the model (planning - programming - budget) and by cognitive behavioral theory, which consists of (12) counseling session, was applied to the experimental sample. The search had reached several conclusions, including: 1 - enjoyed most of the students and students of the Faculty of Physical Education - University of Babylon with the consent of myself for their body images. 2 - students enjoyed the consent of myself photos of their bodies more than the students. 3 - indicative of the program, which was built researcher positive influence in the development of body image satisfaction among the students of College of Physical Education - University of Babylon. The researcher recommended disseminate the results of the current study at colleges and universities other Iraqi, as well as interest guidance programs, preparation and application of scientific Rezin to address a lot of psychological phenomena experienced by university students. | ||
